Looking for online resources and learning opportunities? Our colleague, Julie Wiebe, is a physical therapist who specializes in returning women to fitness after injury and pregnancy. She shares her evidence-based, integrative approach internationally with both professionals and women through live, online, and DVD educational programs.
What role do the intertwined intra-thoracic and intra-abdominal pressure systems have in musculoskeletal and pelvic health dysfunction? This 2.5-hour conceptual introduction (online) will explore the answers to these questions as it relates to common dysfunctions of the lumbo-pelvic, cervico-thoracic region, pelvic health and gut systems.

Are you a health and/or fitness professional working with women in childbearing years? Many women have questions about fitness, health and the core before, during, and after pregnancy, and we should be the professionals they are looking to for answers, not the internet! This one day course will give you the chance to dig deeper, understand what the true core is, and provide greater understanding about the pelvic floor and abdominal coordination, and how to bring it all together for moms. We will also discuss effects of pregnancy, and common concerns and dysfunctions. There is NO internal assessment or treatment in this course.
Sunday Kim and Julia will be guest speakers and working with women who are interested in learning more and attending a one day course. Professionals are invited to attend, participate, and learn how to teach and work with this population from 2 experts.
Join Susan Clinton at Women's Hospital of Texas to improve your knowledge and skill set working with the postpartum patient.
